Super clean, great food, and the service was fantastic. The value for the food was the best I've experienced in ages. My family had the tenderloin sandwich, ham and bean soup, BLT club, and julienne salad.
Tried this place out while passing through Momence and will definitely return when going thru again. Service was excellent and they even have a senior menu. The broccoli cheddar soup was great with big chunks of fresh broccoli. The chicken salad croissant was very tasty and the coffee was very good.
I just dined at Momence Cafe for the first time after hearing so many great things, and was still so impressed by how good the food was!! I had an omelette, soup (which changes daily and is amazing) and the French toast and everything was PERFECT. And everyone who works there is so so kind. Can’t wait to go back and try more!!
My fried cod was extremely good; almost the best I've had (the best was in a pub in Ireland). My husband's Momence Burger was really good too. Friendly, prompt service. If I lived near, I'd come here all the time.
Upgraded to the 5 egg meat lovers omelette and it was delicious. Our server was top notch and attentive. Fast friendly service from a local restaurant. Excellent Stopped in on 06/11/2024 for lunch with my team from work. I ordered the Fish and Chips lunch special. Two pieces of some of the most beautiful and delicious catfish I have ever had served with the side order of crispy french fries. I was also offered two soup options that came with it and a dessert all for 14.99 plus drink. Great job chef I was pleasantly surprised as good catfish is usually a hard dish to nail down and I typically would not order it but I was assured by my server but this catfish was actually very good and it certainly was great job
My wife and I were on a road trip when we were driving through moments, illinois. We found this little cafe and I ordered a mushroom swiss hamburger. The hamburgers patties were handmade and the mushrooms were delicious and served on a brioche bun. It is a very very good hamburger My wife ordered the salmon meal it was a very generous portion and the flavor was great!
I had the feta chicken wrap with salad and fries! Yum yum so tasty. Hot and pleasing presentation. Very clean warm atmosphere.
Very good diner food. Excellent service. Everything is homemade and fresh. Better food than the family restaurants in the Kankakee/Bradley/Bourbonnais area. My mother and I both enjoyed our fried pork chop dinners. Dinners come with soup or salad and dessert.
